BeInSync attracted over 2 million users to its secure P2P synchronization software

BeInSync has attracted over two million users to its secure Peer-to-Peer (P2P) synchronization software, BeInSync 2.0. BeInSync credits its accelerated rate of growth to user satisfaction from is recently released BeInSync 2.0, positive media response to it’s new version, and a number of partner and co-marketing activities, including a bundling program with Intel.

Working with Intel, BeInSync was introduced to consumers at the retail level through major North American electronic retailers. The partnership activities have leveraged synergies between BeInSync and other networking, security, and mobile applications, helping BeInSync to access a wider audience of suitable users.

"The addition of BeInSync's peer-to-peer synchronization software to a laptop using Intel Centrino mobile technology or a PC using Intel Dual-Core or Hyper-Threading technologies enhances the user experience by allowing file sharing across multiple computers, while providing data backup," said Melissa Laird, general manager of Intel's Developer Relations Division.

"As the two-million user milestone shows, incorporating BeInSync into partner offerings allows thousands more students, faculty, small business people and other individual consumers to discover the benefits of synching computers with our product," said Tal Barnoach, CEO of BeInSync. "For anyone who owns or accesses more than one computer or wishes to backup invaluable digital photos, videos or business records, BeInSync offers a simple, automatic and affordable solution."
